There is no shortage of tactical strategies in portable format today. There are many suitable “brain crushers” for every taste. The vast majority are harsh khaki “chess”. Serious-looking, but lacking the depth you expect from games of this format. AntiSquad in this sense it is a non-standard product. There is both attention to detail and a memorable visual style. And there is a lot more that I need to tell you about now.
If you do not search the corpses in time for gold and useful items, then yours will do this without any hint of disgust.
Tactical fight against drug cartels
Visual style in AntiSquad really memorable. bettingsitesnogamstop.co.uk/ We are so tired of the impenetrable gray of houses mixed with the colorful camouflage suits of the “units” that the bright and cartoonish game looks very fresh. Comic book style is by no means new in games, but in tactical strategies it is perceived as something new. Beautifully drawn characters wander through densely furnished environments full of nooks and crannies. The sun is shining brightly, the music is playing. I don’t care that by the end of the third mission you will go crazy from these endless monotonous trills. In the first minutes, AntiSquad makes a very pleasant impression. Only blood can spoil this hand-drawn idyll. It is shed here in violent fountains by both enemies and characters.
Our soldiers (you can take three on a mission) will have to receive injuries in a difficult fight against the Mexican drug cartels. Some missions are interesting, but, to our great regret, there will not be enough variety in the proposed actions. Basically it’s “shoot to your heart’s content” or “plant a bomb/get inside the building and kill everyone again”.
The squad has representatives of different classes. Someone skillfully delivers headshots from long distances, a stocky big guy handles a minigun well, a twitchy psychopath tries to throw grenades at everyone, and a beautiful girl named Rose can climb to the very rear, spray poisonous gas and create a smoke screen.
Special points are spent on any actions of squad members. Each class has its own strengths and weaknesses. If a squad member shoots accurately, he will certainly receive limited movement within one turn as a penalty. And if a fighter, on the contrary, crosses half the map at once, then he will be clearly deprived of health, which will lead to quick death when meeting an enemy.
Unfortunately, in AntiSquad not everything depends on thoughtful actions and properly organized tactics. Even on the easiest difficulty level there are problems with increased mortality. All eyes on the in-game store. Standard first aid kits are not that cheap, but for more serious items to make the battle easier you will have to pay, imagine, crystals. It didn’t come to the point of an outright “donation”, but without donations to an already purchased game it will be very difficult.
AntiSquad compares favorably with its analogues with its comics style, self-irony and low barrier to entry at the initial stages. The game is not without depth, but it can only be fully revealed to the most assiduous. Or generous.
Pros: the hand-drawn style for tactical strategy came in very handy; a well-thought-out system of bonuses and penalties in classes; Each new location is different from the previous one.
Cons: increased squad mortality even at the easiest difficulty level; the application still asks for money after purchase, albeit unobtrusively.
