The rookie Detective Park Sun Woo and Seo Do-Cheol, a veteran of the investigating department of violent crimes, after a serial killer, shakes the world. Followed by veteran (2015). The veteran is an action comedy that is an experienced detective, Seo Do-cheol, against a young, arrogant Chaebol heir to Jo Tae-OH, who is involved in various crimes. The film is full of fast -paced action scenes, but the humor and the clever way handle social commentary on the corruption of the rich. Hwang Jung-min is a fantastic depiction of the ruthless detective, both intensity and humor for the role. The fighting and chasing scenes with hand-hand are energetic and keep the public’s commitment. The veteran is particularly enjoyable by the voltage between SEO and JO. While SEO represents justice and granules, Jo embodies a legitimate, untouchable elite who thinks they are getting rid of anything. The film gently criticizes the imbalance of the power of society, while still exciting traveling, full of choreography of great struggle. The action and the moral message combine to be one of the outstanding Korean action films of the decade.
